Wendy Thurlow has been producing her own one-of-kind and limited edition jewelry for over 15 years. She incorporates techniques such as: forging, acid etching, and various surface embellishments to give her jewelry texture and depth. Wendy's jewelry is organic and sculptural. Her primary focus has been the use of mixed metals with semiprecious stones, fossils and found objects. Her eye for composition, attraction to form and design, enable her to create jewelry of distinct style.Wendy Thurlow is an award-winning jeweler who studied her craft in Philadelphia, PA. at the University of the Arts. After graduating with her BFA in metals she continued her studies by taking on intense internships and started traveling around the world. Wendy has exhibited at numerous galleries in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Boston, Florida, Martha's Vineyard, Oregon and California. In addition to her studio work, Wendy is passionate about teaching the art of metal and instructs various levels of jewelry making classes.
