Wendy McDermott
Nature and classical music have always been part of my life, and as such, have informed my work. My current body of sculptural work is comprised of imagery related to topics that are also meaningful to me – motherhood, (my finest accomplishment), and domesticity. My efforts are concentrated in blending all of the above themes – exploring figurative metalwork combined with enameling, and incorporating natural and found objects.
