Finally, you can wear your favorite jewelry again!
A little bit of maintenance on your jewelry can go a long way in lowering future repair costs. You should check your jewelry regularly for security reasons and it can help you avoid diamonds or gems falling out from your jewelry and it helps prevent the loss of your jewelry as well. For the jewelry you wear regularly, we recommend you take your jewelry to an experienced jeweler every six months for an inspection. However, sometimes even if you take all the precautions, things can happen for wearing and tearing. Story Behind the Repair
The two rings were part of a stackable ring set of seven 14k gold rings with various shape and color of semi-precious gemstones. The stone was missing for each ring. The client has been wearing them for years. It is her favorite. She would like to use stones in various shades of blue, her favorite color, to replace the lost ones. We sourced AA quality oval cabochon Swiss Blue Topaz and round blue Chalcedony for her. The gold bezel for oval Cabochon blue topaz was re-built while the bottom gold plate was salvaged. However, the original setting for the round stone was not calibrated, in order to fit the original bezel we either cut a new one which will double the cost or look for one that fits. Luckily we found one, it took a bit longer time to finish it, but we managed to save for our client and set the stone for her. Viola! The rings look beautiful again with these two brand new stones and well fit into the original 7-ring stack.
