Sylvie Serex-Bonnet and Kory Dziedzic
Exhibit: March 4 - May 2, 2016
Sylvie Serex-Bonnet’s abstract paintings explore the mysterious and secret worlds of womanhood. She uses acrylic, silk threads, sand, and other materials gathered in her travels to give her paintings dimension and grace. Sylvie A. Serex-Bonnet was born in Geneva, Switzerland. She spends her time between Woodside and Geneva. She has a Master Degree in Psycho Pedagogy from the University of Geneva specializing in psychoanalysis for children. She started painting self-taught and took classes at the Ecole Des Beaux Arts of Geneva. “If no glance rests on personal creation, then the creation does not exist completely. It is the glance of another which makes it alive.”
Kory Dziedzic is exhibiting hand-turned wooden bowls, slender vases and delicate vessels. He uses found wood, roots and burls and uses imperfections of the material as components in the design.
